What are superfoods?
Foods that give you superpowers ofcourse!

But in all seriousness, superfoods can be fruits, veggies, seeds, grasses, seaweeds, roots or algae from around the world. Extremely dense in nutrients and hence great for your health.

1. camu camu berry

Camu camu berries are one of the richest sources of vitamin C (Upto 60 times that of an orange).  They serve as a powerful antioxidant in your body and improve health of your skin and immune system. They are extremely sour on their own, but add a nice tangy touch to our golden blend.

2. GOJI berry

Goji berries or wolfberries contain vitamin C, B vitamins, essential fatty acids, amino acids, plus minerals and trace elements. Also found in our golden blend, sprinkle a spoonful into your breakfast smoothie or over your muesli for that extra boost to your immune system.

Chia seeds originate from Mexico, where they were regularly used by the Aztecs and Mayas. Nowadays, they have found their way into North American kitchens and for good reason. They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids (100 g contain as much as 1kg of salmon) and they provide twice as much vegetable protein as other seeds.

In liquid, chia seeds can expand to 10 times their original size within minutes, which is why they are often used to make pudding. But they also taste great sprinkled over salad or mixed in yogurt. We love using them with our sweet blush blend and our spicy wave blend- both found in our fun bundle!

This common winter vegetable should be in your fridge at all times. The high antioxidant content strengthens your immune system and protects your body from diseases. You can add raw kale to your salad, prepare a healthy snack of baked kale leaf chips and ofcourse to your green smoothie! But no worries, if it's turned yellow, it can be found in our green blend, which is part of almost every bundle.

Our kale powder is certified organic and is an absolute powerhouse of Vitamins A, C and K among many other micronutrients. Freeze-dried to keep it's cell structure intact and preserve as many nutrients as possible- evident by it's vibrant bright green colour.

Blueberries are another great superfood. They are loaded with vitamin C and potassium as well as other important vitamins. These purplish berries are anti-inflammatory vitamin bombs that protect against disease. This is why they're found in our blush blend and ofcourse, our berry exotic blend.
